Hello everybody, today is not a discussion day but a survey one! If you are reading this, chances are you love data. Well, Dr. Paige Jarreau (@FromTheLabBench) wants some more data ;). I will quote the people from Science Borealis:
So there you have it folks, want to help out? You just need to take this (short, I promise) Survey: http://bit.ly/ScienceBorealisSurvey.
If you complete the survey you will be entered to win one of eleven prizes! A $50 Chapters Gift Card, a $20 surprise gift card, 3 Science Borealis T-shirts and 6 Surprise Gifts! PLUS everyone who completes the survey will receive a free hi-resolution science photograph from Paige's Photography
That’s it for today, I am working on a post for (hopefully) this weekend :/ November has turned out to be great experiment wise, but time wise, not so much.
We are pleased to be partnering with Dr. Paige Jarreau (@FromTheLabBench) for this project. The data collected here will add valuable information to the work she has already completed in the wider science blog community.
As bloggers in Canada this research will also help us understand who reads Canadian science blogs, what their motivations are, and how they select their sources for science information. As a blog network, it will help Science Borealis to know how effective we are in promoting our members and raising awareness of science and science communications in Canada. We will be making the results of this survey available to everyone in hopes that it helps refine and expand Canadian science communications.
